The Solution: The Cystatin C Test. If you decide to use creatine, tell your doctor. If your standard blood test shows high creatinine, do not panic. Ask your doctor to run a different test called Cystatin C.


Cystatin C is a far more accurate marker of kidney health that is not affected by creatine supplementation, muscle mass, or diet. It will give you and your doctor the true picture of your kidney health.
